Merna's Crumpets - Traditional

Crumpets by Merna are small batch, locally made sourdough crumpets, created using the best local ingredients to bring the crumpet back to you.

These are my traditional buttermilk crumpets. made using Pepe Saya buttermilk.

They can be served simply with butter and honey, or made into a beautiful sweet or savory seasonal dish. 

Ingredients: Wholemeal Flour, Wholewheat Flour, Pepe Saya Buttermilk, Milk, Water, Yeast, Sugar, Olsson Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate.

Storage: best stored frozen for 3 months. Toast straight from the freezer.  Crumpets will be delivered frozen.
