Raised by Sam & Prue on their Holbrook farm, these grass-fed Bond Brown hens enjoy the true meaning of free range - roaming open paddocks as they please. While the industry standard allows up to 10,000 hens per hectare, Sam & Prue run just 40 hens per hectare, giving their birds space, sunlight, fresh pasture and the freedom to behave naturally.

This low-stress, outdoor lifestyle produces superior quality eggs with rich yellow–orange yolks, strong shells and exceptional flavour. No hormones or antibiotics are used - just natural farming, fresh pasture and healthy, happy hens.

The hens roost and lay in portable sheds that are moved weekly onto new pasture, ensuring clean ground and fresh feed at all times. Eight Maremma dogs live with the flock, guarding them from predators and keeping the hens safe 24/7.
